Ayesha Takia Azmi has worked as acting in Hindi movies since 1986. In 2004 Ayesha Takia was awarded the Filmfare Best Debut Award for her performance as the lead on Taarzan The Wonder Car which made her debut as an actor. She has been in numerous well-known films, such as Paathshaala (2010 Wanted) Salaam-E-Ishq (2008) as well as Socha Na Tha (2010). The first time she appeared was in the Complan commercial. Shahid Kapoor and she were in the iconic commercial "I'm Complan girl, I'm Complan boy". The remix song Nahin Nahin Abhi Nahin as well was a tribute to her. In the PETA advert, she stated that she's vegan. In 2006, she was on the top 10 list of the most attractive Indian women.
